CLASSES & PROGRAMS

Our Programs & Classes

Each program at Just 4 Us Foundation is designed to empower, heal, and inspire—through creative expression, emotional growth, and community connection.

You Can Act Too

Acting classes designed specifically for individuals with disabilities. This program is open to all ability levels and creates a safe, inclusive space for participants to explore acting, build confidence, and develop performance skills through storytelling and role play.

You Can Dance Too

Adaptive and wheelchair-friendly line dance and bop instruction. Participants of all mobility levels learn inclusive movements that promote fitness, confidence, social connection, and joy. This program helps reduce isolation, build self-esteem, improve muscle tone, and serve as a creative wellness tool for both body and mind.

Healing Through Faith and Film

A 10-week expressive arts and grief-support initiative tailored for youth facing loss and trauma. Combining creative reflection, drama, and peer storytelling, this program crescendos in a professionally filmed showcase of resilience.

Acting & Scriptwriting Classes

Rooted in drama therapy, these classes focus on self-expression, storytelling, and emotional exploration using screenwriting, role-play, and performance.

Wellness Retreats

Retreats that blend creative arts, emotional wellness, and life skills in safe, rejuvenating spaces—where participants can reset, reflect, and recharge.

Grief Support Circles

Trauma-informed peer support groups offering emotional processing, guided journaling, and creative sharing as tools for healing grief and connecting with community.

Youth Empowerment Summits

Gatherings where young leaders come together for workshops, mentorship, team-building, and creative expression—designed to inspire agency, leadership, and resilience.

Put Down the Guns and Pick Up a Camera (Chicago Hub)

Our national expansion initiative—using film and storytelling as tools of transformation in communities affected by gun violence. Youth learn filmmaking skills to create narratives of hope, healing, and voice.

Why It Works

Each program taps into creative release + emotional support + empowerment. We integrate:

  • Expressive arts and adaptive movement

  • Drama-based emotional tools and screenwriting

  • Community-led storytelling and peer healing

  • Safe, nurturing retreats and summits

  • Media projects that amplify youth perspectives

This is more than programming—it’s a movement toward healing, inclusion, and self-discovery.
